The Full Story

One day in January it was a cold day with freezing rain. It was just another normal day for me...dealing with kids, cleaning, cooking...you know. Well anyways, as I was feeding Jonathan breakfast the city had their HUGE snowblower (lol) come through and do the side walks. Well as we were eating they went past one side of the side walk. Then they were coming to do the other side and all the sudden they stopped in front of our house right in front of our driveway...and they got down in front the HUGE snowblower and they both were trying to get something out of the blades on the front of it. I thought since the rain was freezing that maybe the blades were freezing up or something. Well they were there for about a good half hour --45 minutes. I didnt think about it anymore and as the snow started to melt Daniel says to me one day..."do you remember when the city was plowing the sidewalks and you said they stopped in front of our house for a long time?" "Um, yes?" was my reply..."well, I think I know what happened!" Apparently we forgot to take down our Amazing Grace STEEL sign that we place in front of our yard near our sidewalk that says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith..." and the other side said, "for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Soooooooooooo as they were using there HUGE snowplow they sliced up our sign :-( and caused a big jam up in their machine!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOO you ask why in the world are you writing a blog about this......here's why.....Monday night daniel wanted to take us to the park...so we got all packed up and we drove over to the park. Wellllllllll...we get there and there is a HUGE mound of snow (apparently where they took all the 'extra' snow) and so we pulled up along side of it. We enjoyed the park and had lots of fun. Jonathan enjoyed the birds more than the playground. :-) SOOOOOOOOO we were getting ready to go and we walk past the HUGE snow mound and look down and THERE IS OUR SIGN....all crumpled up!!!!!!!!!! LOL....of course we didnt take ONE picture of the kids at the park BUT we did take a picture of our sign that made the city men mad because it probably messed up there machine!!!! lol
